Focus on Life - Week 32 From Where I Stand

Here it is, Saturday morning already.  Waiting for my cuppa to finish brewing and comtemplating on what to write this week.  I admit, I'm kind of stumped again. 

I moved here just 5 years ago.  I usually celebrate my anniversary every August 1 but this year I forgot about it.  I didn't want to move here and leave Alaska but I owned this house and had to go somewhere.  I severed ties from an abusive relationship I was in. By forgetting about my anniversary date this year maybe that means I've finally healed and have moved on???

I dunno, but here I am in this lovely old house that I love so much in a place where I hate to be, Wisconsin.

So, I go back as often as I can, which this year translates to only 1 trip.  I'm going home in October.  I can't wait to get there.

    So is that the house you grew up in... Love the arch way with the little glass cabinets and the brick fire place. I moved here on Sept 10th 2001 kind of hard to forget that anniversary!

      No, I bought this house in 2007. Long story about how that came about. Must have had rocks in my head at the time, lol.

    Well, I love the house and I have never been Wisconsin. But I truly want one day to see Alaska! But again, I love the house. I love old houses, they have such a charm! Thanks for sharing!
