Focus On Life Week 26: ?

First I want to start off saying "thanks" for the comments on last weeks post.  I really am ok, I'm used to being alone now, it's going on 5 years.  I've lived in remote locations most of my adult life except these last 5 years and I'm really quite used to it.  Still and all, it would be nice to have a close companion to share things with.

Moving on...

It wasn't til just 5 minutes ago that I knew what I was going to post this week.  I'd been mulling it over and over all week long and just couldn't come up with anything.

Super Moon happened this week, did you capture it?  My images came out nothing like most photographer's.  I used 3 different camera's taking loads of pics before I finally got some I was happy with.  I'm posting my favorite.   Enjoy the weekend.

Focus On Life Week 25 ~ You Are

This what people think I am...

But what I really am is this.....

To be alone = :(

Where do I get positive reinforcement when I am the only one?

You know the old saying...
one is the loneliest number.

Well, my number is one.

and now you know....

Focus On Life Week 24~ Green

Goin green!  I like that!  Green is one of my favorite colors.  Green has many shades, some I'm not too keen on.  It was easy for me to take pics this week because with all the rain we've had here in the midwest it's like a jungle in my backyard.

Enjoy the greenery, I'm lovin it.

Lastly, I had to include this bracelet.  I happened to notice when I was doing dishes tonight, it was green too!

Have a great green weekend!

Week 23: Typography

Oh dear, I'm late to the party...I got caught up doing some shopping for Goldie Bronze and completely forgot about "focusing on life", lol.

I was stumped this week.  So I went through old files and am showing pics from last June's trip to my other home, Alaska.  I'm going through withdrawl anyway so it was good to look at my photo's, only now I'm even more homesick.

The one photo I wanted to show you I can't find.  If any of you are familiar with Dale Chihuly, glass artisan extraordinare, his brother has a charter halibut guide fishing service in Ninilchik, Alaska.  I've met his brother (sorry, can't remember his name) in my previous life when I used to live up there when my now ex had a 300 acre dog training/bird hunting business.  Anyway, we drove right by Chihuly's guide service and I took a pic of the sign.

Here is what I do have...

These pictures are from a small Russian settlement towards the end of Kachemak Bay.  I spend a lot of time in this area when I go back hiking and such.  My friend Cathy is in the photo standing by the sign for the "ladies room".  The other 2 photo's are of the village school.

See you next week.
